The name for Milkman’s Cottage was inspired by the history of the building. An old dairy at the front of the block originally housed the local dairy where milk was packaged, then delivered across town by horse and cart. A cottage was built at the rear of the dairy, where the owner once lived, along with horse stables. The cottage has recently been restored for people to enjoy while visiting Kyabram and surrounds.

Situated only 100 metres from the main street, Milkman’s Cottage gives you easy access to shops, cafes and supermarkets.

Milkman’s Cottage includes one off-street parking space. Additional free parking is located right out the front of the Cottage on the street.

Milkman’s Cottage is located between both Brooklyn Dairy and Bishop Townhouse, and within walking distance from Studio 237. Our accommodation options are perfect for large groups, who can book two or more of our stays and be accommodated close together.

Milkman’s Cottage is well suited to 2-5 people comprising of two bedrooms. The main bedroom features a queen bed, while the second bedroom contains two long singles ideal for adults or children, which can be configured into a king bed for couples. Please let us know your preference when booking.

The Cottage features a large living room with a spacious lounge, tv and dining area. The kitchen includes a microwave, toaster, kettle, refrigerator, stove and oven, and is stocked with tea and coffee etc.

The Cottage also includes a separate shower room and separate toilet, laundry with washing machine and a private backyard with bbq facilities and outdoor dining.

A fold-out king single bed is also available in the lounge. Please book for 5 people if the fold-out bed is to be made up.
